What should I do if a teacher leaves the school?

Archiving a Teacher or Staff Member 
 

When a User leaves the school, you should remove their access to SOLAR and you do this by selecting the down triangle to the right of edit next to the user's name in Admin>Users: -

You will be asked: -
 


Click OK to archive the teacher’s record or Cancel.

Delete a User
 

In line with GDPR you also  have the option to permanently delete a User from your system.

In Admin>Users go to List Archived Users and select the Delete option on the right-hand side of the screen

You will then be presented with a pop-up asking if you re sure you want to permanently delete this user.

Click OK and the user will be permanently deleted

Once a user has been deleted from your SOLAR they will display as User:Deleted within the Audit Trail.
