How do I add subject weighting to my zones?

Before you add weighting to your subjects you must firstly set up your Zones. To view a webinar showing how to do this please click here

Next go to Admin>Settings>Zones and switch on 'Allow subjects to be weighted' then click 'Save Changes'

Now go to Admin

If you have a particular Zone that you do not wish to use weighting this can be switched of on a per Zone basis in Admin>Lists>Zones>Edit Zone

***Note*** If your subject weights add up to less than 100 percent then SOLAR will automatically add the remainder to the lowest weight e.g. Number 50% Using and Applying 25% Shape and Measure 20%. This equates to 95% so SOLAR will add 5% to Shape and Measure to ensure the weights add up to the 100% required.

***Note*** If your subject weights add up to more than 100 percent then SOLAR will automatically remove the remainder from the highest weight e.g. Number 55% Using and Applying 25% Shape and Measure 25%. This equates to 105% so SOLAR will remove 5% from Number to ensure the weights add up to the 100% required.

***Note*** If you delete an assessment framework or subject associated with a Zone this will display as 'Deleted' and you will not be able to set weighting or run a report for the framework/subject that has been deleted.
