How do I add pupils to classes?
The class that is attached to a pupil in the pupil record on SOLAR in classed as their Tutor Group. Pupils can only be in one tutor group and if this changes it must be changed in the pupil record. As you are aware classes are attached to teachers and assessment frameworks to classes.
However, pupils can be in more than one class.
To do this you go to Admin>Lists>Classes and add a new class.
In the group type make sure it says teaching group.
You can then add the pupils to the class by typing their name in the pupils box.
In the subjects box you can add the subjects to the class.
