How do I view an assessment framework?
The first option in the left-hand menu is Assessment Frameworks. SOLAR displays all the assessment frameworks that have been uploaded onto your schools SOLAR when you login to Admin.
To look at any of these frameworks in more detail click on the name of the assessment framework. There are 6 tabs for each assessment framework.
Note 1 – we recommend making any changes to an assessment framework BEFORE you start to use it as making changes after assessment has been added can have a significant impact on your data.
Note 2 – When you add the assessment framework to your SOLAR you need to attach this to the classes who are using this assessment framework.
Setup Tab
In the Setup tab you can amend the Assessment Framework Name and Name the Stars and set up ‘Streaming’ if required. If you select streaming (which works for linear frameworks only) the subjects tab changes to ‘Streaming’). Don’t forget to click “Save Assessment Framework” to save your changes.
There is also a Base Framework option that you should select if you are using P Scales, Early Years Steps, Early Years Foundation Stage 2012 and/or WS P Steps.
