How do I use the IEP feature on SOLAR?

IEP Feature

SOLAR comes with a standard IEP for schools to use.  However, it is noted that schools have different requirements when it comes to setting and creating IEPs and therefore in SOLAR you can: -

  • Set different permissions for User Groups
  • Rename the IEP to for example ECHP
  • Rename some of the fields in the IEP
  • Switch off some of the standard IEP fields
  • Add custom fields both with the IEP and IEP targets section of the IEP
  • Change the print layout for individual IEPs
  • Set whether users can view all IEP’s or only those pupils that form part of their User Profile (Restricted)

Access to IEPs

The ability to access the IEP module forms part of your user profile. If you wish to do this and do not have permission to do so please contact the SOLAR Administrator in your school.
